It is written for the owner who wants the actual number — the dose, the target range, the cartridge part number, the cover measurement — and who also wants to understand where that answer sits in the whole maintenance routine.

## What makes this site different

- **Every problem page diagnoses before it prescribes.** Water-problem guides open with a branch keyed to something the reader can observe (recently shocked? recently refilled? balanced but still cloudy? does it smell?) and each branch ends in one specific remedy.
- **Every numeric range carries an inline citation** to a primary source at the point of use, overwhelmingly the CDC, because its guidance covers hot tubs specifically and is free to read.
